Sun Light HR Partners LLC., operated by Dr. Constance (Connie) Lawrence, an HR
professional with over 30 years Human Resources Management experience, is set up to assist with HR support to include creating policies and procedures, creating and updating job descriptions and employee handbooks, offering online and face-to-face training to HR beginners along with kindness and emotional intelligence workshops.

Dr. Lawrence has directed and managed strategic and functional Human Resources Management to include Human Resources Planning, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Training and Development, Career Planning, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Safety and Risk Management along with HR Administrative Responsibilities.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the University College of the West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica; a Master’s of Science degree in Human Resources Management from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business, Nova
Southeastern University, in Davie, Florida, and completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the Lynn University located in Boca Raton.

Her dissertation topic was Linking Kindness to Emotional Intelligence through professional training and development for employee satisfaction and retention. Dr. Lawrence also completed numerous certification courses in Human Resources, Leadership and Management.

Dr. Lawrence was a faculty member at the B & B University, in Kingston, Jamaica where she taught Business Psychology and Business Management. She also sat on the program advisory board at the Everglades University, Florida, and on the board of ScholarCareer Coaching, a mentorship program for minority college age kids for over two years.

She is currently a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management) and
was for many years a director of the Kiwanis Club of South Dade.
